Thanos doesn't have a "Working Guantlet". You could stick the stones into anything to make it the working version. Infinity Trousers. Infinity Sombrero. Infinity Kilt. Infinity Scarf.

The Eye of Agamotto? When was that shown in the vault? If you're referring to that object with the eye in it. That was the Warlock's Eye. Completely different.

When Thor went to make storm breaker, seems like there was a right handed gauntlet in the dwarf forge.

Odin's vault being full of fake stuff actually plays pretty well into how he's shown to be in the movie.

you gotta remember ....in MCU cinematic universe there are some ideas taken and brought in the movies from ultimate universe in ultimate universe, there are 2 infinity gauntlet which the ultimate hulk uses it one time in the comics .
who knows maybe they had plan before to use both gauntlet and later changed their minds and ideas to just keep one gauntlet in the cinematic

Yet let's remember at the end of the first Thor movie, we see someone's purple hand steal the gauntlet from the vault, so then it makes sense for Odin to have another made to take its place thinking that no one aside from him and the dwarf would know the difference

I know this was posted awhile ago and this is my favourite theory it was posted on Reddit (cant remember their user)

So basically, Hela used to be Odin executioner and they used to travel to different planets conquering them. Maybe they were searching for the infinity stones. After getting to Volmir to get the soul stone, Odin couldnt do it because that would mean he would have to sacrifice Hela. And Odin already had the Space Stone, which was inside the tesseract this was how they could travel from planet to planet. I believe he got a gauntlet forge on Nidavellir to harness the power of all the stone but then never used it. As and yes the gauntlet that Thanos uses was left handed and the on that Odin had was right handed. So they stopped trying to find all the soul stones. Then of course in Infinity War we see Thanos sacrifice Gamora to get the stone.

To me this seems very logical and thoughtout, I could see this being real.

There are 3 infinity gauntlet: 1- thanks has one, 2: in infinity war Thor sees one where he gets the new hammer, 3: on odins vault

Thats the "Orb" of Aggamoto not the "Eye" of Aggamoto. Aggamoto could have gave it to Odin as a safe keep as the Orb is said to be immensely powerful.

I wonder why Hela didn't just use the Tesseract instead of wasting time searching and hunting for Heimdalls sword to use the Bifrost seems like it would have been a lot easier and faster.

In actual myth, Odhin was also known as a betrayer. In Marvel universe, fictional Odin is very loosely based on the Norse/Germanic God. If they took the betrayer concept from the myth, could Odin have helped bring Thanos to power?

There is another gauntlet at the place where Thor made his new hammer

I like to think that Odin had all six stones at one point, but when thanos arrived he scattered the stones throughout the multi-verse.

The gauntlet in Thor: Ragnarok the the gauntlet is right handed and in Infinity War it was left handed...Hela knows Thanos so well

Thanks doesn't have actual gauntlet je has ere copy of it.
Actually there is nothing like original gauntlet as the stones were never to be used by a person - or not all of them together.

So it was necessary to keep them separate. Any gauntlet with proper material would do the job as long as it can hold the stones and doesn't get destroyed when power of stone is used.
But gauntlet that thanos has is imperfect for sure.

There is a second infinity gauntlets in the comics. I have a theory that there are actually two vaults a fake one and a real one. After all Odin is the Norse god of wisdom.
