If your using a send for your delay or verb or any FX on a send. It should be set to 100% WET. And control your mix amount by the send knob level on the track it's sent from. Very important. Leave the track the verb or delay is on at Unity (0) . Always run sends like that. Your FX will sound better. But that is the correct way. By doing it the way your doing it your introducing your dry vocal level into the FX track. So as you turn your FX up or down you're changing the volume of your vocals. That's why the majority of time based effects have a SOLO button next to the amount knob.
