Ah! So next week we start the arc with that dumb character who is constantly making bad calls and making everything worse and Jar Jar Binks! Sorry, I had to make that joke!

Powerful episode and great arc.
Another potent detail is when Dooku arrives and departs to his ship with battle droids and dead clone troopers at his feet.

I feel like if any other jedi showed up Clovis might have surrendered and because it was Anakin Rush was immediately worried for his own life. Especially considering, like a couple days ago, Anakin almost beat him to death

Love the Severance references at the end!

I think that the break ended because Anakin never wanted it and Padme wanted it because she kind of realized that Anakin was right being suspicious of Clovis. Yes, he hadn't handled it well but he was ultimately rights thinking that Clovis was deceitful and that associating with him was dangerous for Padme.

I think the biggest reason why Anakin didn't use the force is because he didn't want to take any risk with Padmes life on the line. He wouldn't have used the force if it was just her hanging there *because* his fear of "what if it failed". He truly believed that his power would never be enough, it wasn't enough to save his mother, why would it be to save anyone else he loved.

His own fear controls him here, it always does with Padme. He is powerful and the chosen one, but his fear always holds him down. He could've saved padmes life with the force is this epsiode. Hell I'd argue if his intentions were good and he wasn't ruled by his fear and could focus, he could've saved Padmes life in revenge of the sith. Without anyone else to guide him, I think he could do it. If he could focus on the selflessness inherit to the light side, he could've saved Padme from anything... but he couldn't. His attachment was too strong, stronger than his love for her. His greed, fear, and darkness were too strong for him alone. He has no one he fully trusted to help him face his dark side. He was so afraid of losing padme, he himself forced them apart and killed her. She loved him so fiercely, she would've stood by him through anything. She always believed in him, but he didn't. He couldn't after losing his mother. He truly believed that he had failed to save his mother because he was too weak. Without the proper support, he never could have moved past his fear of losing those he loved. He truly believed he'd never be strong enough to save those he loved from death, and so he couldn't. In spite of being capable of incredible things. He lost everything he ever fought to protect, and in the end, he only had himself to blame.

QA: Hey guys! I just finished reading both Kiersten White's Padawan and The Monster of Temple Peak and i noticed something.

In Padawan the kids consume energy orbs from Lenahra to gain superhuman abilities.
In Temple Peak, Layton and Tapel claim to have found some archives stating that consuming the Gretalax horns would give immense strength.

Do you think there is a relationship between those two things? Like, if non force sensitive beings consuming something coming from a sensitive one could provide some sort of abilities at least for a while.

Lenahra orbs were energy, but still were things coming from a force-sensitive planet. The Gretalax horns were something physical coming from a force-sensitive being.

Do you think this could be the case with blood transfusions (From a force-sensitive being) or DNA transfer and cloning?

feels weird to call Clone Wars Anakin a good person, I mean hasnt he at this point killed a whole village of Tuskens, including children?

...the Sith are self-destructive...makes sense that Sidious ultimately wanted to destroy the entire galaxy...the Republic was just the first to go...or was it the Jedi Order...?

I'm gonna write Greedy For Love. Sounds like a cringe anthem from an 80s metal band. Deep Cantina cuts, maybe.

Greedo For Love will be the title of the parody that Weird Al OBVIOUSLY will write.

Never understood the plot in the first episode, too much banking stuff for me.
