Should You Sign a Prenup?

Always, yes. I’ve been engaged twice, never married. I don’t believe in divorce. Even if I got married. Prenup. Even if I made less when we got married. Prenup. God forbid a split. Anything y’all make TOGETHER, can be split. Anything you built by yourself, should be yours. If love and money aren’t the same, keep them separate. That’s why many marriages end, because of money. It’s all very interestingly intertwined.

1000% I think this is the right thing. I would also feel terrible. Just thinking about how hard they would have worked for that money…. all of those mornings they woke up at the crack of dawn and countless other sacrifices. You’re a 💎!

I think it’s good just to protect both of you from hurting each other because if you get divorced, somebody is probably angry. People are different when they’re hurt so while we love each other, let’s decide how we treat each other if this doesn’t work.

Everyone who gets married has a prenup. It is the rules of the state you get married in. A prenup is just a discussion of those rules and modifications if necessary and everyone should have this discussion before getting married.

I’ve thought about this a lot and I won’t do a prenup.

Firstly because I trust God will bless me with a good wife according to his word and he’s already given me the wisdom and decrenment to recognize such a woman.

2 because ultimately a good marriage and family is FAR more important than money or material possessions. The very nature of a prenup shows A you don’t 100% trust your spouse. And B you value money over them.

And then, to add more flavour... partners who may contribute less financially throughout the marriage, homemakers mainly... should consider a prenup with an accrual. Love n roses is great, until it gets ugly and there's divorce! Protect yourself.

I don't like the idea of a prenup. If my husband doesn't want to share his income with me, I would have to charge him for damages because I couldn't progress in my career when I was carrying our baby. My body (when pregnant) and time belongs to us both, so his money belongs to us both. Luckily, my husband is on the same page, so this was never an issue. I also manage our investments and we are both a little stingy, so that probably helps.

No marriage in my religion is legal without a prenuptial agreement. It's about circumventing the lawyers and judges' business scams.

Wish my ex husband would've felt this way. I would've held on to all the money I brought to the relationship instead of having to share it with someone who did nothing to earn it. At least when it happens to men there's usually children that women has created. Successful women should be very very careful to only date men equally as successful.

Absolutely i made all my money on my own so if a women wants to get married if she doesnt sign a pre and post nup were done.
