*"Prioritized!' is my new favorite word. What's most important? Second? Third? What is time sensitive (can only be done from 8-4? Do I need to be somewhere at a certain time? Set an alarm. Did anything fall off the plate? Med pick up? Overdue appointments? How' the budget? What's my bank balance? What's not working? What can be improved? Who needs me? How can I fit it all in? Where does the exercise fit in? Etc. Life seems so complicated sometimes. I'm 60. Female. Working full-time. Grown kids with disabilities, mental health issues...complex life. Taking a day off to re-think, regroup, get things done. Thank you for letting me hang out with you frugal happy people. I love your ideas and am subscribed. (Lots of thumbs up!)
One more thought: grabbed a small container out of my freezer. Forgot i made this weeks ago ..reheated a rice, lentil, red pepper, peas onions, tomato based recipe...yum on my bonus day home) ;-)

Say you watch Under the Median all the time without saying you watch Under the Median all the time.

My husband walks into the room as says, "Oh wow, Larry looks great! He's all healed up from the bike accident, huh?"

Fun fact. What most people refer to as a stalk of celery is actually called a ‘rib’. A stalk of celery is actually the whole head.

It's interesting the difference in title from many people, you write 'how we 24 hours', others doing the same call it 'what i spend in a day'.
Speaks volumes.
Nice video, so happy you are over 200K, I've watched you for so long, it's nice to see you doing so well.

I think the biggest key to frugality for me is organization. You definitely are organized as well!

This is one of the best "day in the life" videos I've watched so far. I enjoyed seeing the real time actions behind the frugality advice especially the recipe ideas. I watched the video until the end and then bookmarked it so I could watch it again. Thanks!

Once you get in the habit of doing these things, it becomes like clockwork & isn't overwhelming. At first it may be time consuming, but it really takes very little time after becoming a consistent habit. The salad looks yummy!

Also wondered how you store the bulk foods you bought from the Amish store? Maybe a future video idea? Would love to see how you store these items to keep them safe and for maximum shelf life?

Hello, Hope and Larry! You can even use your cabbage to make stuffed cabbage rolls with some rice, lentils, herbs, and different spices, tomato, and shredded carrot. Just a quick little recipe.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy these videos. Your tips are applicable and easy to understand. Hope, you are so organized and creative while Larry, you are very tech savvy and resourceful! What I love most is how wholesome your family is. Watching you both bring your special gifts to bless each other and balance your home, it feels so loving and natural. Your sons also seem like stand up gentlemen! I can see strong values shine through each member of your family. Your humility and gratitude exude through your channel and all I can do is smile! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, share your family with us & educate us on frugality!! Your dedication is so appreciated!! Hugs, from your Northern Friend❤🙏🇨🇦😊

I like black berries or raspberries on my oatmeal mixed w the mixed berries from Walmart because of the higher fiber of blackberries & raspberries.
Lately I’ve been bumping up fiber w chia seeds or flax seed, add walnuts. 8:08

WOW! You guys got some nice bargains! Thank you for sharing your frugal day. I'm sure this video was a lot of work but would love to see more like this. Your cabbage salad looks yummy!

Exceptional video! Showing real life of frugality without deprivation! 😊

I am a weirdo bc I love hanging clothes on the line. It’s a win win… less wear and cost on your dryer plus clothes …especially jeans last longer.

Now the coffee in the thermos… I’m copying that! Just pulled my Stanley out of my cabinet.

Bravo 👏 on this video. This should be on repeat whenever you can.

I wish we had an Amish bulk foods store near us. However, I know that there are bulk foods available here in our area. Thanks for showing us what can be done to eat so economically!

When I saw your ingredients, especially beets, I thought of Borscht… a Ukrainian soup… use veggie stock broth, beets, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, could add beef flavored lentils and still had your salad, sandwich and soup..
Enjoying spending the day with you two!

Wow 200, 000 subs. I started when you had 10, 000. You two are doing people a great service. I did the oatmeal breakfast for a while but got sick of oatmeal. I now eat scrambled eggs. At least egg prices are going down. Love ya.❤

Loved this video! Honestly, it's one of my favorite episodes. Just something about seeing you two out and about. And of course I always learn something, like what to do with the big cabbage in my refrigerator!

19:09 I don't think anybody should be worried about if you're washing your hands or not because it's not like they are in the video with you are there at your house at the moment I think some people could just be over exaggerating as far as reality is concerned when we live in our own house we can do whatever we want 😂 wonderful video I love you all
