No Credit card, no car payment. My Toyota has 145k miles, plan to drive that as far as it can get me. I'm no longer taking on debt.

I'm unfortunately on unemployment, but I'm doing Uber Eats on the side about 4-5 times a week. Hoping to use whatever I earn to put in my investments and savings.

This is exactly what I do. This video is spot on in every way. What helped me start the savings mindset years ago… chump change. What I did was set income at a certain even amount. Say… $1100. If my paycheck was $1135.42… I put $35.42 in savings. Say the next check is $1105.05. Well, $5.05 in savings. When I went from never saving anything to seeing just $500 in savings? That in taught me anything is possible. Also embrace minimalism like he said. If u see an object at target, … picture it on a shelf with dust on it. FYI… don’t go on a “target run” go for a walk. It’s free.

Great video! I built my savings account by banking up my IRS refund checks, stimulus checks, and car payments after paying off my vehicle. You have to stick to your financial plan, and it will work out.

Great video, Eric!! I was expecting more of the same old, same old: Stop buying Starbucks, no more restaurants, shop at GoodWill..
This was refreshing, eye-opening, and motivating! Thank you! Watching your videos is really changing my life. I am almost 30, in school to become a doctor and working, all while disabled. You give me hope for the future I am building. Tonight I really wanted take out, but I thought of you and went to the store, instead. I bought sandwich makings and fresh fruit and am healthier and better financially because of it.

It doesn't have to be 8000 dollars. It can be any amount a person wants to

On a low income it is tough to save and invest but once you have a substantial amount saved you can ease of the gas pedal.

Doing the monthly budget EVERY month has been a game changer! It is helping to close those $$ gaps. And making that vow of frugality is helping too.

Budgeting is so important, so helpful and SO EASY. The hard part is the implementation and discipline to the goal. Once we get passed that, the savings just grow naturally and it becomes habitual. It's a beautiful thing. Solid Advice😊
