Welcome to, Turn Wright Machine Works; I've had a few request on a tour of the shop, I have to chuckle because after viewing most of my videos you have just about seen it all! Well here is a quick tour of the shop! This includes a glimpse of my shapers and the area between shops...

It is a recopy coverted from the file I had, I know you can swell pixels you just cant keep them clear, but wanted to make sure from now on, my loading procedure, so I don't loose the quality I've been suppling!

Love the shapers! Not the fastest machine around, but sometimes realy nice to have.
I would never trade in my 200mm stroke toolmakers shaper..in fact i run it pretty often.

I know that you have many videos what you promised earlyer, but I look forward to see, how you make a steady rest, because my Russian lathe (stanko 1k62) don't had a steady rest when I bought it.

Keith, the video looks great in both 720 & 1080 so whatever you did you did it right.
God knows how far and through how many states the digital signal actually traveled to get it from your place to mine, which is only about 6 miles away ACF (as the crow flies), but it arrived in first class condition.

The little ones are very expensive / hard to find.

The big ones that were cheap, seem to have been mostly scrapped.

I'm trying to build it without a note, so some time is going to come into play. The footing is first and may be this year.

I will send this weekend.
Basically what I need is a custom hydraulic cylinder. Not as complex as off the shelf units to actuate the grip. I also need the pieces for the arm itself cut out of 1/4 steel that would best be done one a cnc table (I tried with my plasma cutter and the results where... horrible). I'll send schematics this weekend to the email on your website.
