The Move “The New” Turn Wright Machine Works
Starting a new chapter in the direction Turn Wright Machine Works is moving towards, location and quality of the building to operate out of. I share my experience in moving my shop 2.4 miles from old location to the new location and the set up to get it back up and running again. I start out catching you up with a few items of concern, News from the electrical contractor, that “Eversource” our power service is not going to be getting out to help set up the three phase on the pole outside the building itself for a duration of time, maybe as much as three months, then switching up topics to, partial disassemble of some equipment needed to get machines out the door without having to wreck the building after that, I take you over to see the landlord’s progress on the new sight, finishing up with a chat at the desk.

Hi Keith, i loved your homey little shop and the things you were able to do in it.But nothing stays the same and this place will give you a new identity. You and every machinist and fabricator saves those old cuttings for future projects.

Dear Keith
I' ve been following you for some time. I admire your talents as a machinist
Today I heard that you sobered up some years ago . I am a medical doctor and probably understand the problem better than most non- affected people.
This has added another layer of understanding and admiration
I also wish you strength to overcome your divorce
If you look at this adverse event in your life, moving is nothing
Kind regards from Johannesburg South Africa

Reading the comments.
Seems to show more money than what might have been expected.
I would take it that it, s a way of saying Thank You for the years we spent watching you.
Keith you are one of the early YouTube machine shop pioneers.
That set the pace for other similar channels to grow from.
It, s great to see the people who have loved watching you for so many years getting behind you both personally and financially.
Looking forward to many more years of watching you grow in your new shop.
Keith you are a Good Man.
Wish you all the Best.
Peter.

Keith just stopped in to your channel to see if you had posted anything on the new shop. I really enjoy the video's and the way you go about repairing all the different things. I have been going back and watching a lot of your older videos and still enjoy watching them for the second time. Hope things are going your way with the new shop and I am sure when you get it all put together it will be one of the nicest shops around.

The new shop should be even better organized than your old one was because now you know what you need. Sometimes tragedy make for a powerful new beginning. Your contribution to the machining knowledge in the community is priceless. You have a lot of friends out here.

Keith. I painted my garage floor 10 years ago. I could not believe the difference it made. It is so much brighter and oil spills wipe right up. The brightness in the shop was the biggest improvement. You will be glad if you paint it. I’d recommend an industrial grade product though. My brand was from the big box store and it’s not especially durable. Good luck in your move.

Wow, well, you have a plan and executing it. I am a bit of a squirrel when it comes to focus. You’re a great man and inspiration to us, thank you for sharing along the way. Your chuckles always makes me smile.

Keith, it's so great to see a smile on your face! You are an inspiration for so many of us. Watching you move ahead through a difficult situation is one more example. If you're able, it would be great to see some video of your big machines being moved. Those of us who are amateurs don't have a lot of opportunities to see how those things are done. I know I struggle with moving much smaller machines around my garage and shop. I am sure that seeing you do it would provide a lot of ideas that could translate to my smaller scale operations.

Keith I am so sorry for everything you're going through. I thankfully was able to work things out and was able to make it work. I would be mortified to pack 38 years of tools and materials. Chin up shoulders back and push through it. I wish I were closer to help. Well wishes to you sir.

Years ago I was vice president of engineering at a startup company. We were considering a building and had some heavy power requirements too. A local TV station had just vacated their studio and we leased it because the electrical service was 480 volts three phase at 3000 amps. That was ten times what we needed, but it was at no additional cost.
