Why Deadpool’s Healing Factor Doesn't Work How You Think... #marvel #marvelcomics #comics #deadpool #Wolverine #Shorts #Spiderman #MCU #UltimateSpiderman #Symbiote #AlienRomulus #TheHulk #FantasticFour Deadpool’s healing factor is OP but depending on the story it can actually work a little different here and there, at times it’s actually be described as more of a DYING Factor, but what does that mean? Well let’s take Wolverine for example, when he gets injured or someone takes a massive chunk out of him, his body is programmed to fix any damage that he takes by replacing any cell that’s out of order from how it’s supposed to be, with a healthy completely normal if not a little mutant flavored Logan Cell. This lets Wolverine stay at peak condition for pretty much his entire life until those peak cells start getting replaced by Old Man cells. Now think of Deadpool as sort of like MR Old Man cells, since instead of his body repairing losses with peak condition cells, it’s actually repairing the injuries with all that Wade has, his dying cancer cells. This means that Deadpool is CONSTANTLY dying at an extremely rapid rate, but his cells get replaced so quick that he doesn’t ACTUALLY die, because any cell that dies is flooded and replaced by new dying cells which get replaced by another batch and so on and so forth. It’s kinda triggering a gross feeling inside thinking about cells dividing and multiplying so we’ll leave it here for now, but just know that for Deadpool DYING, is a much better power than HEALING.

The way i think of it is Deadpools healing is more like the experiment turned him into a guy with cancer, to a guy that is cancer albeit controlled and not overgrown

Deadpool is constantly hovering between “absolute death” and “extreme health” so yes, his healing/dying factor is basically both, because not only was his healing factor mutated, his cancer mutated as well and it reached one incredible equilibrium. since the moment he heals and gets new, healthy, peak condition cells, his “other side” immediately starts eating it apart with mutated cancer, which is then replaced with healthy cells, which are then immediately mutated, so on and so forth
