Thank you for the great tips! I'm in the process of filling out the visa form, which asks if I have any relatives in the U.S. I have my F-1 visa interview in two days and wanted to ask if I should mention my cousin who lived in the U.S. but recently moved to the UK, or just leave it out. I appreciate your guidance!

If someone has a stammering problem, how should they approach a U.S. visa interview in front of the consular officer?

Yesterday our family received the sealed envelopes for entry into the U.S. along with the immigrant visas, and we were horrified to find that our daughter had a different name printed on the envelope instead of her mother's name. It turns out that when filling out the DS260, the person who filled out the form for us mistakenly wrote the name of another woman instead of my name (the last name is written correctly). The Consulate told us that we should go to the USA and explain at the point of entry why there was a mistake. We are very worried that we will not be allowed to enter. Please help us with advice on what to do! Thank you in advance for your advice

Hi. Its is said that you should not change your visa consulate to another if you were refused from a previous one. However, in my country the waiting time for visa appointment at that consulate is 2 years now. Is it a legitimate reason if i change the location since i need urgent appointment ?

A really strange thing happened to me. Me and my friend prepared the same type of documents for B1 visa interview - Invitation letter, bank statement, etc etc. I got rejected and he got accepted. What might be the reason?

Is it proper for an applicant to first of all disclose an important information to the visa officer before the interview starts?
