Glad it wasn't major.
The 2019+ got a new casting block, hydraulic lifters, & CP4 pump. All the reasons I went with the 2018 leftover instead of a 2019. 2021 is coming with a CP3 pump again.

I bought a 2018 3500 DRW 4x4 new for my small tractor/excavator service. It just hit 60000 miles with out a problem. I'm towing two different 3 axle trailers with equipment and material. This is the first RAM/Dodge vehicle I've owned. Not disappointed in the least bit.

Sounds like more of a Cummins issue than a Ram issue.

I've got a 2020 ram 3500, my only problems was the dpf clogging, since then I'm good. I'm at 99, 500 miles now.

When I took, my 2016 in for recall work it was a very pleasant experience. Never had any warranty issues on it.

I have a 2014 Ram ecodiesel that just had an engine failure “spun bearing” I’m going through a similar experience regarding a loaner. Initially had a equal truck through enterprise but that truck had bad tire so now currently in a Jeep Compass. Dealer said they would call when they had a loaner but have not received one call. Regarding the warranty work there was no questioning. Hope to get my truck back within the next couple of weeks.

It's not Fiat or Chrysler anymore. It's now Stellantis now that they merged with a French company PSA.

When my truck broke down they offered me a Toyota rav 4. Told them to stick it and fix my truck

I bought my 2020 2500 in November. Should have waited a few months and got the 2021 with the CP3. Didn't know any better at the time.

Had the same experience with my truck. Trans sent out at 23, 000 miles and it’s been at the ram dealership for almost 3 weeks. They haven’t texted me or responded to my texts in days.

had a 17 ram 1500 5.7 that had a driveline vibration that no dealer could seem to fix. had the same experience with fiat corporate, terrible customer service. the best day of owning the truck was the last day. glad to be back to ford.

I've got a 19 3500HD Laramie srw with 11, 683 miles on it. So far the only problem that I've had was getting a bad load of fuel at 7, 825 miles. I had to drop and drain the tank, put a new pump in the tank, and fuel filters. Nothing was covered under warranty as it wasn't caused by the truck. But my insurance did cover it. My dealer offered me a 1500 to drive and again covered by my insurance. I still love the truck.

i purchased a 2020 3500 and the dealer bought it back after 400 miles. I bought a truck that had the factory gooseneck package with the plastic covers but they forgot to install the hitch. I pulled off the lot and was so excited and went to hook up the trailer and could not stop swearing. The dealer said 2 months to get the parts so I mentioned a lawyer and the california lemon laws and they bought that thing back. Quality control needs to be looked at. I know things happen but there have been too many issues with the 2019-2020 rams. Stupid dealer is now trying to sell it as a used truck, i hope the next buyer is careful.

Glad it wasnt that bad. They all have problems though. My brother had a F350 same thing used it for work and to haul equipment with. The dealer gave him a focus to drive when it went in the shop

Ford loaners are the same way. I got a 2019 F350 welding reg. I had Transmission problem and death wobble. dealer gave me car they did not care that i was going to be out of work for 2 weeks. When your welder is on your truck and your truck is down. The dealer kept pushing it to warranty and they do not get in any hurry. Long story i think the dealers wont touch a warranty issue until the manufacture approves all the steps to resolve the issue.

I'm right there on mileage and a 2020 3500. Man I'll be pissed if this happens. So far I love the truck.
