I'm only 30 years old and I feel like a confused old man trying to figure out this program. I can't even figure out how to do basic stuff like private message and have a hard time navigating the interface. Sometimes I feel like I'm clicking around in circles doing nothing just trying to do basic stuff. Why is this popular?

Okay if you still dont understand:
Discord is used for messaging and voice chatting-its like slack but for gamers. You can join servers with a link or code. A lot of servers have bots and mods to watch over the server. In servers there are custom (includes voice chat)channels that you can chat in like 'general' 'nsfw' or 'memes'
