The only time that I think I get these is if I accidentally bite my cheek, eat too much acidic stuff, and maybe burn the inside of my mouth. I used to rub salt directly on the sore. Not sure if it actually did anything but it hurts A LOT for the first few seconds lol. Then I started buying an aloe leaf and rubbing it on the sore to heal it faster. Now, I mostly just buy Oregel mouthwash for cheek bites and cancer sores and it helps a lot.

Thank you! I’m going to try this. I called and asked the pharmacist on the phone about toothpaste and she said that it was just salt and acted like I was saying that I didn’t brush my teeth which is by no means true and an insult. I brush my teeth at least two or 3 times a day.

Just put salt on the canker sore (I havent tried yet) Or gargle warmwater with salt in it I always do that(hop this helps) :)
