Still questioning how the UNSC got the recourses to build such powerful ships in 4 years even though they were facing extinction with only a handful of ships ranging from 4 12 ships at best

I don’t care what you say ship man but the anlace and strident look god awful. Glad they returned to the old design with the mulsanne.

Like, the Strident is pencil thin and wholely a glass cannon, with shields to make up for that weakness slightly, its length seems to be there purely for the sake of making the MAC bigger, and while it does hit harder and is more powerful in a straight fight than the older frigates, its not really any better in design, like, give the older frigates a refit, maybe redesign their engines to make them tighter to the main body, and they would do just as well while being cheaper to produce. The Mulsanne is simply long range bombardment, and most certainly does have its place, but it is rather limited in its overspecialization. And then the Anlace is just a prototype testbed, and its technology would be better suited to prowlers. Overall the newer frigates lack in Capitol Ship or Ground Support roles, and almost all ground opperations seem to be exclusively left to ODSTs, as the Strident and Autumn are only equiped to deploy ODSTs and nothing else.
EDIT: The Poseidon does not count, being that it is a glorified troop transport and has no place on the battlefield.

The “current” state of the Infinity is another way that 343i has completed backpedaled and ruined and screwed and just tarnished Halo over and over and over…….again.

How is it possible that the Spirit of Fire, a considerably older, smaller and DRAMATICALLY smaller crew size was not only able to fight back the banished but also win many times against them while the Infinity just… died??

Well the answer is easy, creative assembly, actually provided a decent good story for the halo universe, they brought a new enemy and presented a reasonable scale, and reasonable threat to the human army (SoF) they were up against.

Now, 343 comes along and steals, creative assembly’s decent enemy idea and goes full retard with it. If 343 even an ounce of competence, the infinity would have never lost, that would’ve been impossible no matter, Cortana goofing around with the guardians and stuff. They should’ve actually brought the flood back in halo infinite, that would have been an actual enemy for the infinity
