I ecourage people to learn those fast expressions to understand how native speakers talk. However, for non-native speakers, we should speak normally and clearly because if we try to use fast expressions, we might mess up, and no one will understand us.

Speaking too fast change the actual words' sound, might confusing for non native speaker, but in other hand it creates slang for corresponding phrases that is important to learn if you want to understand native speakers. And something like this also happens in many languages in the world. At least I know my native language has many slang originated from similar thing.
