I wrote my computer based IELTS on the 28th August 2021.

I had written the paper based test in 2019 with an overall of 7.5 but the results were about to expire.

I have a full time job but endeavoured to practice all the questions i came across. I can tell you all the questions I got in the exams, i had practiced earlier.

Speaking:
Part 1:
1. Do you live in an apartment or house?
2. Can you describe your apartment?
3. Why do you like living in your apartment?
4. What do you see from your apartment?

Part 2:
Describe a situation you gave advice to someone recently?
1. Who did you give the advice to?
2. Why did you give the advice?
3. How did the person feel about the advice?

Part 3:
1. Do you find it easy to take breaks?
2. Have you ever had a short sleep while you took a break?
3. What do you do when you take breaks?
4. Do you take advice from others?
5. Is it better to take advice from family or friends?
6. People say they would rather share certain information with their friends than family. Do you agree?
7. In what situation is it not wise to request advice from multiple people?
8. In what situations do older people take advice from younger people?
9. Would you pay for advice?
10. In what situation is it better to pay for advice than take advice from family or friends?
11. Is professional advice e.g. medical or legal worth its expensive price?
12. What do you think drives the cost of professional advice?

For Writing:
Part 1:
Your friend is getting married next month. Unfortunately, you would be unable to attend the wedding. Write a letter explaining how you feel about the news, why you would be unable to attend and offering an alternative to make it up to them.

Part 2:
Older people are beggining to live longer and as such some countries are having more older people than younger people.
Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of such development. Give your opinion as to whether you agree or disagree. Suggest what can be done and give examples

The PPF is an excellent strategy. I used it and scored 8.5 in speaking. E2 is doing God's work. Perused the entire channel for just three days and scored L9 R9 W7 S8.5

Got my results today, Jay! Your tips are super amazing. I have recommended you to my friends and everyone else who has passion for success. I am super excited as I was nervous hours leading to the test. Maybe because I practiced for only TWO days being that I barely get free times as a full time worker and a mother of TWO very active BOYS 😳 Albeit, I remained calm. The reading test turned out to be really really tough as the passages and paragraphs were complex ones with some requiring me to read and understand first and foremost before answering. Nevertheless, I am proud of myself for the outcome which is enough for what it’s needed for. Overall, you’re such a blessed teacher. I'm here to thank Jay and the team. I gave my computer delivered IELTS test on 11th March 2024 and it was my first attempt and I got my results in 5 days I got the overall band 7. I only watched E2 YouTube channel and gave some online mock tests and 2 mock tests from the Cambridge book. Only with 1 month of preparation. I used to study 1 YouTube video daily with 1 speaking and reading mock test and yes I used to take a topic from the internet and try to record myself. This is how I got L-7.5, R-6.5, W-6.5, S-7
