I've never used lining paper but it makes sence if you have bad walls. I'm going to try that. I think I've got the bug since watching you. You are amazing to watch and such a nice gent easy to get on with. I'm learning it's sinking in thank you so much for your time and great 📹

Cheers mate, my old bf was a Decorater many moons ago haha, he taught me how to line walls but did it vertically, never seen it done this way before, just got a new pad and prepping the walls ready to line, this was really helpful, you just answered my question 😄 I wonder if I have to undercoat before putting the main paint colour on? Just doing light colours, wondering if would be cheaper so the paper doesn't absorb the coloured paint?

Im going to be lining papering my stairs this way. How do i do down the stairs under the bannister? Do i follow the border of the stairs or still do it in a straight line? horizontally

I was always told not to overlap in the corners.
But good to see you doing proper work instead of hitting plots.

How do you hang the lining paper up by the ceiling when you have to use a ladder to reach?

i was taught that if you were going to paint it afterwards that you should leave a few mm gap in between pieces and use filler in these gaps as you will always see the joins otherwise?
