How to hang lining paper or how to hang wallrock fibre lining.
Very similar in principle but the beauty of using WallRock is you can hang it off the roll as it's non woven PASTE THE WALL.

Another great vid and lesson, cheers Phil! Its brilliant to see your viewings going up and other youtubers mentioning you on their channels . Love the caulk trick for the top cut....a top tip. A feature of wallrock i dont think you mentioned is that it doesn't tear easily giving which makes it ideal for first time DIYers.
I'll try that one time caulk. Another decorator got me onto Crown caulk. Comes in 2 or 3 flexability/ movement types. Very reasonably priced too.

Nice one Phil, I've been hanging all grades of lining paper on countless walls/ceilings, since the 70's. Principles and methods have never changed, other than the use of plastic spatulas, steel straight edge & paste the wall method, which I absolutely prefer for all wall coverings nowadays. Butt joints, yes, but I do work with experienced professionals who leave a 1mm gap, mist coat, then very fine joint fill, when painting to a finish. Great video as ever, cheers mate.

Nice tip on the adhesive... I've been using Albany ready mixed for years but it's become so expensive, I'll be interested to see how the wickes stuff compares... Its half the price!

Instructions say that if using with fireliner it must be applied with reinforced side to the wall. Can you advise please? Is it the grey side on view before I do fireliner?

Wickes paste I use this on my tapofix machine thin it by around 40% so it’s thinned to come through easy… brilliant stuff never had an issue unlike using solvite crap 👍
