I gave it my all for this tutorial, all video settings explained! There is a LOT of juicy info in here I know you will learn lots! I know this video is not something a lot of you care for, but I just wanted to finish this once and for all, since I put a lot of work into it already. I have also been recovering from tendonitis in my elbow so I haven't been riding lately either, but I should be back very soon!

This tutorial features the Hero 6, 7, 8 and 9, they all work pretty similarly anyway so I have tons of test footage from all those cameras!

GoPro needs to sponsor you. You’ve been using GoPros to their max for years and I’ve seen nobody do as good of an explanation as you have in this video

Hey everyone! I know this is different from my normal content, and a lot of you won't care for this. I don't plan on doing anymore of these videos, but I have been recovering from tendonitis in my elbow and it was taking longer than I thought it would. But I am doing a lot better now and should be back to riding right away!

Perfect Timing I was just about to buy a Gopro and I needed some good setting. Thanks so Much for this Video

Mega props for doing this. Some other MTB YouTubers claim their settings are proprietary 🙄 You add value for your viewers, which is why you have tons more subs than they do.

Thanks Jordan. This is taking me from a triangulation of multiple "here's the settings used in my videos" from good MTB YouTubers (fish) to understanding what the values actually are and how they are interdependent (how to fish). This is huge!

This was an amazing learning experience in just 43min. I always thought some of the settings were obvious but then you took it and made me question about it, I don't have a gopro but this applies to so much more areas than just gopros. Amazing video Jordan!

Also yes 60 fps does make you look slower, it's extremely noticeable when posting on Instagram where is like 20fps you looks so much faster

Can't believe how much work you have put into this video to show everything with examples. I learned a lot. Thank you.

TY, you're a legend for putting all the work into this, and then sharing it. I hope you are all healed up soon and look forward to more riding videos.

Thanks for taking the time to make this, I’ve watched it twice already and still don’t fully understand it all but my post production is definitely improving. There’s lots of these videos out there but hardly any touch on the amount of detail you included in this one.

Jordan, you're a lifesaver. I was unsatisfied of my footage and wanted to step up my game. You just gave me more tools to get better. Cheers!

This is ridiculously excellent. I’ve watched a lot of camera config vids, not just for GoPros but for mirrorless, drones, DSLRs etc, and this is probably the best I’ve seen on settings for any specific camera. You nailed showing how each setting influences others, but more importantly what this actually looks like in the resulting footage, and why. Crazy amount of info with real world shots for context. This would have taken a metric sh!t-tonne of time to plan and execute. Nice work mate. Much appreciated. 🍻

Really helpful stuff even for someone who works with cameras! I always want to shoot in 60 fps for how crisp and smooth an image it is but it really does make everything look so slow.
These were some really great tips for getting the most out of the camera and guiding the auto settings into faster shutters. All the side by side comparisons were much appreciated.

This video is definitely the best out there! Thank so much for the breakdown.
It was worth the 43 minute session.

Unreal video! Thank you! There's some stuff I thought I had nailed down, but you've definitely given me a lot to think about and test. Really great video.
