Tutorial on how to create a progress bar component with a single HTML element and vanilla CSS (no JavaScript needed).

In this video I used and discussed:

- Positioning (relative and absolute)
- Background gradients
- @keyframes and Animations

Way better than any other tutorial from big YouTubers like WebDevSimplified or Kevin Powell etc. I agree with you that their tutorials are always completely bloatet with unnecessary stuff. Also, THANK YOU for not telling us to "smash subscribe" and "don't forget to leave a like" and "hit that notification bell so you don't miss any upcoming video". No advertisements for yourself, no advertisements for some shitty VPN company. That makes a video so much better!

Btw. I always prefer dark mode. A simple <meta name="color-scheme" content="dark"> or :root { color-scheme: dark } would be enough to make the background dark gray and the font white (in Chrome).
