I have an sl.
I completely disagree with this review.
The shorter chain stay etc makes this bike much more fun than the levo.
It manuals, jumps and rails turn.
Maybe send a bike tester next time whi actually manuals and jumps down the trails.

I need to ride one and I’m sure it’s excellent... but... I wonder if the reduced weight issue is BS... the test video shows a bike with the booster battery, so 18.3kgs... so 2.5 kgs less than the regular levo... which runs on bigger heavier tyres... really this is less weight that I’ve lost since my last snow boarding trip a month ago (too much everything... don’t judge me)

So is the world a better place having the SL... of course... are journalists gushing... definitely

Being a nerd... some say the next generation batteries will be a kilo lighter in any case, so I can’t help thinking, optimal configuration is a bike with meaty 36mm forks, plenty of power 700 to 750 watts watts and 20kgs... saving weight beyond that just leads scrawny cross country rather than full enduro type bikes

Conclusion... good to have an SL option, but it is just light weight

After demoing many brands of ebike, I know why ebikers want or need a lighter Ebike. It’s because most of the people that ride them and don’t fitness for a non motorised bike also don’t have the strength to pick one up outta the truck!
