Iran to ‘imminently’ launch ballistic missiles against Israel | LBC

Shelagh Fogarty and foreign affairs analyst, Michael Clarke, react as the US describes 'indications' of an Iranian attack on Israel, with the use of ballistic missiles.

“The United States has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel. We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack. A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran,” a senior White House official said in a statement.

Washington is understood to be supporting preparations for Israel to defend itself from attack.

This comes as the IDF released footage showing troops entering a Hezbollah tunnel network in southern Lebanon at some stage over the last 12 months.

Israeli special forces have carried out more than 70 operations in southern Lebanon over the last year, it has been reported.

The IDF said on Telegram that troops collected "valuable intelligence" and dismantled "advanced weaponry of Iranian origin".

This "Professor" is completely clueless. The April attack was designed to be ineffective. they gave Israel and US tons of notice, actually coordinated with the US, waited for them to get in position, sent mostly slow moving drones and targeted them at largely unpopulated areas.

There's not a single reputable political analyst who thought the April attack was meant to inflict any harm at all. It was a symbolic attack that the US actually negotiated Iran into, in order to be able to claim they took revenge for what Israel did without actually escalating into a full blown war.
