How To Manually Update A HP Laptop & PC BIOS Tutorial

In this Windows 10 tutorial, I will be showing you how to manually update your bios if you are using an HP PC or Laptop. Updating the BIOS can be good at resolving issues with the hardware of your device and also improve performance and resolve bugs but it can also be bad, if the BIOS update goes wrong then you might not be able to fix the error so I would only recommend updating your HP BIOS if you are experiencing issues with your system and its the last resort.

In this video, I was updating the bios for an HP 14-ce3510sa Laptop.

I know this was years ago, but what if instaed of a windows popping up to completes it, it just opens a browser window that shows you a manual?

It is beyond rediculous that i cannot update bios because I don't use windows. This ends my use of hp.

I clicked accept and it extracted the files but the new window never pops up where I select create recovery.

Update could not read your signature file. Remains at black screen after restart.
It's a real shame that no-one reads these comments and the official HP Support forums have nothing but scripted responses. Oh, and no warranty? You're SoL, fella.
