100, 000 subs! So many more people are learning about regenerative practices....its awesome. Hope they continue to learn about soil health to apply to their land, yard, garden. Every acre with regenerative treatment goes to improve the planet.

Love your soft voice just saying like it is .
Is it working no snow ?? For the grass .

Thanks for the video! I might take vacation for the grazing school. First, I’ll see if it’s open for me to take vacation.

We figured the cost of steel posts and Lockjaws for 5 strands of electric wire and it came out about the same. We wet with Timeless posts it is harder to get them in our rocky sections of the property but we got it done.

We have been so blessed to get about 2.5" over the past four days (down in central, Southern MO) looks like another inch or so coming this week. I'll take the mud after the dust this summer....

Speaking of salad, the rain and cold finally came here in TX. However, it's warm again. Now we have trees transitioning into fall/winter, and fresh green grass growing all over the place.

It looks...weird.

Awsome video Greg. Leads me into a 2 part question. Morning an evening. So you move twice a day. 1st this time of year you wait till frost is off before you move. Your opinion for the guy that wants to move but has to be to work. Just move em an dont worry Bout frost or what? 2nd your evening move, is that pad bigger then the morning one considering animals will have more time over night in there? Thanks again

Could you run bulls with ewes and rams with cattle, or would that cause issues?

Obviously, they would need to be further from each other and maybe run more hot wire?

Curious your thoughts, Thank you to you and Jan for all your info!

Hi Greg.. is there any plans to put in a pond or ponds at the Arizona land project to attempt to catch & hold water during Monsoon seasons for animal H2O and possible irrigation? Or primarily just trying to continue to break the top crust to make the soil so it will absorb water for right now and maybe pond later?
I read articles a few years back that southern Arizona ranchers in I believe Cochise County with adjoining property were doing joint projects to slow down monsoon water flow across their ranches, capture it to soak into the soil and slow down erosion using rock rows a number of feet apart, like basins, in those areas. It was pretty interesting reading. Never have seen a follow up article on it, will have to Google search it & see if there has been any follow up on it.

Howdy greg im a new homebuyer looking for some land and would like to become a rancher. sadly my funds wonty allow me to buy a beautiful piece of land like you have. the land im looking at is borderline high elevation desert in colorado. im from texas land aint cheap so im willing to relocate. my question is. how should i go about starting my ranch? whats should be my first course of action once i buy some land with sub par grazing potential Ie mostly small shrubs and desert grasses?
