Hey, I'm a little late to this video, but I wanted to say I really appreciated it. I work with kids and one of them really wants to shift into an animal in Minecraft and you just made that possible. she's going to be so excited tomorrow when I tell here that there is a way

Recommendation:
Do "/execute if entity @e[name=EntityName] run effect give @a[team=TeamName] invisibility 1 1 true" for the first command block. Sadly, as far as I am aware you still need to use IGNs for the second command. After making the team with the same name as in the command. You want to do "/gamerule modify TeamName collisionRule never" this makes it so you don't slide all the time.

Cool I remember me and my friends doing this 4 years ago welp ours was sorta messy we literally killed every mob not knowing we could target a specific mob using a name tag .

Thanks this has helped so much. Question though…my boys play it on the switch and they play two player on one switch, can we do it for the second player as well?

If you are wondering how to go bacl to hunan without killing that mob, you can change the first command block into "needs redstone" you can use a lever to turn it on and off.

here so for those for who it didnt work, try this- i edited for minecraft bedrock

command block one:

/tp @e[name=mobname] yourname

command block two:
/effect yourname invisibility 1 1 true

- put both blocks repeat, always active, unconditional
- name any mob and insert their name for "mobname"
- insert your username for "yourname"
-if your name has spaces put it in
quotation marks
- this is for bedrock 1.20
