The UAD Pultecs are hands down my favorite EQ for bass. The “boost-and-cut” trick makes it sound gives me both the low-end weight and midrange presence every time.

Weid video. It's hard to hear the difference as its so much louder.

Its a good effort but does not come close to the actual hardware. Its sounds thinner, lacking depth, smoothness finesse etc. Good from the UAD team and authentic looking GUI coding and EQ curves that mimic the hardware but cannot capture that hardware mojo.
