I was wondering when you'd jump on this. LOL I can remember reading about this on TCRF years ago and ever since I saw that IGN video containing a short clip with this song, I have been OBSESSED with getting it ever since and I am thrilled to see it finally surface! You should've seen my reaction when it came up on the stream.

Bamboo Terrace is my favorite level, I love that this version is preserved!

Okay but the tiger enemy was finished and functioning fine. Why did they take it out?

I like how the mixing/mastering is just nonexistent on some of these actually unfinished prototype tracks, so you get all these full volume instruments and sfx fighting for space over a weirdly empty background and no reverb anywhere except what's already in the actual sample. Kinda fun glimpse into the process and what stuff sounds like before you touch it up.

i have no idea why but the loud singing in this version makes it weirdly hilarious

The main lower chanting sounds like the same samples used in Colossus from Spyro 2 (which were slowed down in that game).

But here's the big question though: Do you guys prefer this version over the original? I'm kind of stuck in between (although the vocals here are a bit much, haha).

The sound of the tiger is similar to the one of the turtle in Sunny Beach (in Spyro 2).

I like the percussion better in this one and the prominence of the male vocalist sounds nice but my god that female vocalist is abysmal
