I think the artwork is a sign that Timmy and Tommy are going on new adventures, and the bridge could even be from the next game too, or maybe a farewell, we will see when the time comes!

Timmy. Hi- I think the faded watercolour style signifies that this version of AC is slowly fading too. Fingers crossed there’ll be a new AC game to look forward too. 🤞

I do think it sucks they keep talking about the game including artwork, tie in products and events but won't give one of their biggest earning games more content. at this point they could offer some items from older games behind a paid for pack and i would get it.

Nintendo are most likely working on the next main AC game for the Switch 2, or Super Switch (as I'd have them call it)

I agree with you. I definitely think they haven’t gave up on Animal Crossing. I highly believe they are working on something and keeping it very silent and possibly giving subtle hints here and there that we are missing

I just hope that the next game wont take a few years into the cicle of the next System and that it will even surpass the last game. Maybe not in sale numbers but in style and gameplay. I really hope that the ac team take players criticism into account. Cherry on top would be some last, even if small, event/update to celebrate the massive success of this title!
