I love how realistic the ad is too like something you'd see on tv in fact I thought it was an actual ad.

I like that even the female employe and little boy also begin to show confusion towards the end as well, before the male employee is stopped.

I was the little red hair kid in this film. It’s my first time seeing it now on YouTube. Great short film! Although I wasn’t properly credited, it was still a great experience being on set. I remember the leaf blower / air scene being really hard for me because I kept laughing. I’m glad people liked my performance, although I barely remember doing it lol.

I got Too Many Cook vibes with this one, it really feels like something Adult Swim would air at like 3 AM or 4 AM to catch its viewers or younger audiences pull an all nighter off guard

this is the first time I’ve ever seen this short and GOD, is this haunting. super technically impressive and the actors all did amazing. the scary and unsure nature of the ending really digs in how scary addiction is even when you’re on the road to recovery. hope that these uploads can stay up eventually because this film is an amazing work of art.

It's bizarre to me that both of these actors would later play husband and wife many years later on a little HBO show called The Gilded Age.

Freaky, I like it. The announcer, the change of feeling from the main actress, the extras and near the end when the extras mouths opened with the guy in the green, hop stepping to the door. The feeling of knowing something is not right, then it escalating cause of that is frightening

I think the male waiter is her drug dealer. Shrimp=drugs and he knew she was trying to stop but he kept making deals with her. She had to get out of the drug loop and actually recover. This film is amazing

This sent chills down my spine, an amazing meaning involving drug addiction. I love this short film.

This film really invokes a lot of emotions within me. As a person who’s life had been significantly altered due to addiction, this has really spoken to me. The metaphor of a never ending commercial is hauntingly beautiful. At first, the substance is warm, consistent and inviting. Just as the commercial portrays. But as you continue, reality gets warped and the people you love start to notice. This is shown in the change of tone in the narrators voice and the other actor’s demeanor gradually becoming more and more confused and forlorn. The way the environment around her gradually gets more and more chaotic really shows how quickly things can get out of control with addiction. And the fact the only way to get out of the loop is representative of cutting your dealer off, is beautiful. Not to mention the chaos that ensues as you’re struggling through the detox process. All followed by the lingering want to relapse, it’s amazing how this short film portrays the horror of addiction. I really look forward to seeing the lead actress in the movie his three daughters. she is a wonderful.

This is one of the most brilliant films/analog horror videos/things I have ever watched. Absolute and pure horror tied to an inspiring message about quitting addictions. In the end breaking the loop was, indeed, a "great choice".

WARNING!!! There is a CHEAP K-Fee JUMPSCARE at arround 0:24. If you hate them as much as I do, just skip to 0:40. That's when the short film ACTUALLY begins.

Came here to watch this after reading the Washington Post article about the imminent bankruptcy of RL, which mentioned this hilarious film. Was not disappointed.

In this tiny masterpiece Carrie Coon and Morgan Spector are a million miles away from their husband and wife characters in “The Gilded Age”, but they’re still terrific.
