So in this video, we take a look at how you add a Google Nest Wifi point to your existing Google Wifi network, along with how you migrate your Google Wifi network into the Google Home app.

Thanks for showing the manual code entry. Once I saw that, I skipped the QR scan and manually entered the code found on the bottom of the device. This worked. I was getting a network offline message prior.

These steps no longer work. It makes you set up a new network not join the existing network.

What about my old settings from google WiFi. I had it set up where I have my daughters devices be in a parental setting and have it turned off at a certain time at night. The question is what happens to those settings? Do I need to configure all of my daughters device again? What happens to the google WiFi app- can I continue using the google WiFi app? Hi, I have a problem. I have 1st Gen Google wifi and already migrated to Google Home. I am trying to add a new nest device. Google WiFi is recognizing nest device but not adding to the wifi? The furthest I have got is Final set up but then it just times out. Any ideas?

I've 1st gen wifi mesh with 3 pods. They stopped completely working so did factory reset and could only get the main pod/point setup fine but the other 2 pods can NOT be added  Google Home app in 2023 is horrendously awful, cumbersome, and there seems to way to add a pod. This is an all around horrible experience. What a WASTE of money these mesh pods have been. Just AWFUL

Do the devices have to be in the same house to work? Can the google WiFi be in one house in a different state, and the google nest be in another house in a different state using the same network as the google WiFi in the other state?

Hello. After adding the setup code, I don't have the option to add the Wifi point to my existing Wifi network. Instead, Google wants to create a new Wifi network and then just times out. I have reset the Point to factory settings but the problem persists. It worked before with 3 points but after resetting the router after a problem, I can't add any points to the network. Thank you for answering.
