A shortcut of a webpage is an easy way to access it quickly. In this video, we are going to learn, how to add a Google shortcut to your desktop. Follow these easy steps.
1. Go to your desktop and click on the "Windows" icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. Scroll and search for the “Google Chrome” app in the programs list.
3. Click and hold the Google Chrome icon and drag it onto your desktop.
4. This will create a shortcut for the Google Chrome app.
5. If you are using Microsoft Edge web browser then Open it.
7. Select the URL to Highlight it.
8. Now, simply drag the URL onto your desktop and this will create a shortcut to the Google page.
9. Double click on the Google Edge icon and it will open the Google.
10. We can also create the shortcut in the Chrome web browser
12. Click on the three vertical dots of the menu, which is located in the upper-right corner of the browser.
13. From the dropdown list, select “More tools” and then choose to Create a shortcut from the sub-menu list.
14. Leave the default name of the website in the Create shortcut box.
15. Check the box Open as window and then click on the “Create” button.
16. This will add the shortcut of Google to your desktop.
17. Close all the open windows.
18. See, we created a Google shortcut on our Desktop.
