After failing my driving test twice, I finally got my license without having to retake the test. I noticed that many instructors seem to fail students on purpose, probably because it helps them make more money when we have to come back for another try. To get around this, I decided to contact a licensed DMV agent who assisted me in writing a letter to request a provisional license. Thanks to their help, a Class D license was delivered right to my mailbox!

I got my license over a year ago, all I’m going to say is calm down. Every instructor is different but they are all humans. Talk to them before you start driving. Just have a causal conversation about the weather or something simple. Just be respectful and listen to the directions. Try your best and be sure to practice a lot. If a shitty driver like me can pass, you guys can all pass easily. And hey life’s not over if you fail, always got next times. ;) good luck!

My mom actually taught me how to drive. Two months before my test she actually printed out blank dmv grade sheets. She actually gave me a couple mock tests. She would act as the examiner and actually conduct it like a real test.

She would actually grade me and then go over how I did at the end. One the result and told me where I needed more work. It was actually extremely helpful and I passed the real test first time with no demerits.

She did the same for my sister as well and it worked for her as well.

Passed my test today, Had a Great Instructor. My tip is to schedule a behind the wheel during the middle of the week to avoid Monday Zombies Traffic or the people that are way too excited to go on vacation Friday-Sun

This is hard for me to admit, im 38 and have never got my drivers license. In 2016 i had finnally got my permit and was practicing, got in small accident but it did set me back basically for another ten years i stayed away from driving getting by on public transit and wasting money on uber ! Three years ago i had my first and only child, my beautiful awesome daughter, and i decided then i have to get my drivers license, thankfully with everything ive been given the opportunity to be a stay at home dad, and a few months ago i got my permit agian and have been practicing driving atleast to the store and back everyday or everyother day . Im nervous, im embarrassed and frankly ashamed but i have to do this for myself and my daughter and my family, take her to doctors appointments, school etc, please wish me luck and best wishes, im gonna take the exam by September thinking around the first of September. 🙏🙏🙏

I have my test in two days and I’m 100% confident driving on the road, but parking (parallel and reverse) is the biggest issue for me. I’ve been practicing a lot so wish me luck😭👍

Edit: I passed!! The parking was super easy and only took me 4 minutes to do. The way I practiced parking was making the space smaller so I can challenge myself which helped a lot at the test bc the space they give you is pretty big.
