Riverside County Sheriff says deputies ‘probably’ prevented third assassination attempt on Trump

A man was arrested outside of a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in Southern California, and multiple guns were illegally in his possession, according to authorities. KTLA's Omar Lewis has more on this developing story live from Riverside County.

They found weapons in vehicle at a checkpoint where they searched all vehicles? And this is an assassination attempt? The TSA confiscates an average of 18 firearms a day at airport checkpoints. So using this flawed logic the TSA prevents 18 hijackings per day. Nonsense. This was a gun nut who takes guns with him everywhere and had no plans to do anything with them. A Shotgun? Really? An assassination attempt with a shotgun. He either forgot he had the guns or he didn't know his vehicle would be searched. And this sheriff grandstanding and claiming his officers prevented an assassination attempt is ridiculous.
