How to do manual partitioning during installation? | Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

In this short video we will learn "How to use manual partitioning during installation?" on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

I was playing around in Modicia for 2 hours, having a blast tweaking the looks and settings and then when I decided that I wanted to install it I was a bit surprised that I couldn't just check "install alongside Windows" like I could in the Mint installation.
I've set up all the partitions and I'm currently waiting for Modicia to install, it seems like the perfect distro for me and I hope this will work.

I already have 4 disk partitions for windows. But doing this won't affect them right?

I already have 3 NTFS partition on this drive and after I create the boot partition, the installer says the remaining space is unusable. I don't know why this happens. I can not procede.
Is there a limit to how many partitions I can put on a drive?

I'm having the installation trip on some kind of hard drive errors. Is there a way to work around that so that it won't trip and mess up the install, like using a partitioning? And how do you know which side of the partition gets the errors/bugged part of the hard drive?
