This show feels so much better as an off-the-cuff Q and A back in the ol' car setup! Smart move lads.

Thank you, Colin and Samir for such a detailed answer to my question! Especially for breaking down the video with Mr. Beast interview as an example. That's exactly what I needed.
I wrote down a quote from this episode which I added to the list of my goals for this year:

“As a creator you need to reduce yourself as the bottleneck as much as possible”

This video definitely helped with some ideas on how to do that and how to organize the process better 😊

Great video. Being a YouTuber is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of Famester of course to help) will always pay off at the end. Good luck to everybody, we will all succeed one day!!

As a new creator starting in Youtube, I've learnt so much from you guys and I apply every single piece of advice, hence my channel is growing very fast.
Thanks Colin and Samir

So you're gonna keep this channel alive for more in-depth episodes?

Love the new vibe. Feels old school C&S, especially with the nod to the car. Very helpful for the creative 🙌🏽

This was amazing. You guys not only went really in depth, we got a real insight into how you ACTUALLY manage your business, but also provided us with immense value. You not only explained issues and pain points of being a creator, but showed us how you find meaningful solutions in the day to day, and not in the superficial way I usually feel you do on this channel. The line between entertainment and informational content has been moved, and I think you're setting an awesome precedent regarding this channel's value prop. Not only do I believe in this format of creator support more, and ofc feel more included as a viewer, I also feel like I'm really getting value and insights I don't get to hear often from you guys or anywhere else - like if i was watching a Colin and Samir interview, but of yourselves! Thanks, love this

10:37 I'm always confused how/why Collin and Samir stress out so much about thumbnails (including having Jay on as a thumbnail consultant) just to pick the "headshot + yellow highlighted quote" option 96 out of 100 times. Like they've got a lock on the branding by now, it feels like they can take their anxiety down a few pegs 😅

QUESTION: How do you A/B test thumbnails? What is that process like? Who are you split testing those thumbnails to? How are you tracking the results etc.? 🎥
Appreciate all you guys do! 🤙🏼

I love that Jimmy helps them set up. True worker, not some big company head who expects his payroll to do everything for him. Glad this channel is staying alive, while being able to get the same beneficial content from before, now on the main channel. Love and appreciate you, Colin and Samir <3

"Never stop promoting your stuff, especially if you're proud of it" this is massively important!

This is one of the best video to learn production process, especially podcast. Thank you for sharing!

can't say I'm not a little sad that we won't be getting creator support podcast episodes anymore, but I very much ennjoyed this video! So awesome to see a couple levels higher than where most people are at rn.
