Quick fix for the common Infiniti/Nissan faulty gas gauge problem

How to fix the horribly designed gas gauge float, and how easy it is to fix given you have the time.

The other fix is to clean the marks on the sensor unit (or more exactly the area between each mark) so that they are clearly defined separately

What was bent? The actual arm or the float position.. i cant see how the arm would bend so any details would be appreciated!

My mechanic replaced that same piece on my truck with the factory piece and it still doesn’t work properly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

This is the same item mechanic after mechanic says is the main reason. Blah blah blah, not one of you guys show the other problems that cause it of show how to fix it.... 🙄
