South China Sea dispute: Philippines president says situation is dire

The president of the Philippines is warning of an increasingly dire situation in the South China Sea.
Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says China has been building islands closer to the Philippines.
That's forcing Manila to approach its neighbors for support.

PH need to ask U$A officially lift the acknowledgement first.
The U$A help draw and acknowledged the ROC admin claim 11 dash after WWII.
That claim was made when none of the current other claimants were independent countries.
The nine-dash line, at various times also referred to as the ten-dash line and the eleven-dash line (by the ROC), is a set of line segments on various maps that accompanied the claims of the People's Republic of China (PRC, "mainland China") and the Republic of China (ROC, "Taiwan") in the South China Sea.
