I think you miss the point of clairvoyance. It's used to find the *right* path. While I think the spell is worthless because of limited range, I've also spent time on countless quests shimmying up the backside of a mountain because I couldn't find that obscure dirt path.

I only ever really use clairvoyance in skyrim when my target destination is at the top of a 90 degree cliff and I want to find the easy way up it instead of hopping around like an asshole

One thing I learned about Skyrim is that you should save your level ups till when you are in combat since it heals you instantly. It has saved me many times in my games.

For those who don't if you keep heading straight out of the starting cave you'll hit a bandit camp one of the Bandits has a treasure map and you can find the treasure in a fallen tree at Riverwood.

I have thousands of hours in vanilla skyrim, not even counting modded playtime. Still I come back to it and watch gameplays like this 6 years after VIDEO release and over 10 years after game release xD I love this game man

I only use clairvoyance when I'm. Not in a dungeon and I want to find my way around mountains and annoying slopes

Have JUST finished the Chrono Trigger playthrough of yours and I was extremely entertained man. Definitely one of my favorite games ever, can still remember sitting on the floor and playing that. Nobody but my great friend that I have ever talked to has known about that game. I can't wait for this. Not only have I never been a mage but it is easily in my top 5 as well. Sucked me in man, it's been fun watching all of what I've seen so far.

You get the Golden Claw quest when you talk to it's old owner OR go into Bleak Falls as the two bandits talk about it. No one ever misses out on it because it's unavoidable as you do the main quest. What people may not know is the quest reward is more gold than the Claw is even worth, making it always worth turning in.

Skyrim is my favourite game in the world but I have to use Clairvoyance sometimes because I have a horrible sense of direction, even in video games.

Clairvoyance has helped me so much I'm otherwise very directionally challenged. Doesn't make me less of a player. If you choose not to use it that's up to you of course but you shouldn't judge those who do cause we're quite a few who use it. Other then that great playthrough am enjoying it quite a bit
