I heard lux might return in the upcoming show skeleton crew. There was also a deleted scene from the clone wars where Anakin asks lux if he knows that attachment is forbidden in the Jedi and he agrees. Because this was after sheelas death and he knew Ahsoka liked him it seemed a bit to dark so filoni took it out. This scene is lost media.

They were going to give Ahsoka a romance with the character Nyx Okami based on storyboard scenes in the original season 7 prior to it's cancellation and later reworking by Disney.

I was okay with Lux and Ahsoka, but given their occupations at the time it really wouldn't have worked out at the time. But they definitely care for each other and I'm okay with that
