It's great to be back. 😁 The support over the last few weeks has been incredible, and I just wanna say a massive thank you again to everyone who helped in any way!

This video should explain exactly what happened to my channel, and where things are up to now. But for those who just want the short version: Alex hasn’t dropped the strikes, but MagnatesMedia is NOT getting deleted! 🥳

To Alex Edson (I know you’ll be watching this & filing a false privacy claim like you did to all the other creators)... I have deliberately NOT shared some of the more serious allegations against you that people have privately sent me, as I now consider this matter over. Assuming you don’t attack me or any other creators again, then I’ll go back to making my normal videos, you can go back to filing patents, and we can hopefully all move on with our lives.

Obviously if Alex does try to come after me or anyone else, then there is A LOT more to show you all. I also now have comprehensive media insurance in place & 100’s of you have messaged about a gofundme for a countersuit - so if Alex does escalate things, we should be able to get some important case law in place to protect creators.

However I imagine Alex is unlikely to wanna draw even more attention to his past activities, so hopefully this is now the end of it, and this will be the last time I ever need to mention the name Alex Edson.

Happy to hear you are filing suit for false DMCA against him. That was something that kept popping into my head the whole time this drama had been going on, that if you file a false DMCA you are responsible for loss of income and can be sued over it.

I had the same thing when I created a complete social media presence for my brand during covid. Then I built my online business. In 2021, someone registered a business using my business name...that person then contacted me on social media, with threatening letters to remove the name and close my business as they had it registered. In my case, I gave in and lost everything. I'm glad you stood your ground and fought it.

I had an incident with a channel where they had shown a document I created and shared privately. They used it during a video, falsified the reasoning of my watermark, and discredited me completely.

I filed a strike when they chose not to publicly apologize and a credit me as the source. The channel responded with a counter which meant now I had to sue or else YT would unblock the video. I came to the same realization you expressed in this video that it's too costly.

My point being, it cuts both ways. Glad you're back making these epic documentaries.

I myself have just just recently subscribed to this channel after finding out about it from UE. Needless to say, the videos of this channel are great for people who are into business, corporate and finance related stuff.

Glad to see a positive outcome. I'm hoping the laws here in the US can be reformed soon to prevent this kind of copyright trolling, and patent trolling which Alex also seems to be involved in. Once that happens, Youtube should be able to re-tool their system to prevent this kind of thing entirely.
