What the video said it’s really true, you get crazy free marketing (because not only you can promote your stuff, you have hundreds of influencer friends that posted your stuff for free in return for posting their own business product) now my business earn 10x my influencer income which is mindblown and it keeps growing!

The scary thing is that, YouTube can be easily be taken away. Overnight you can loose all your income stream and you can't do anything about it.

You missed an important hurdle in this. You said that the youtubers do not really have any experience in conducting biz. But what you missed is that no existing experienced company would be giving them sufficient equity. This would mean that youtubers have to partner with smaller/new companies which will not have sufficient experience to compete with large players. Case in point - Beast burgers are heavily struggling with quality control but this area is quite in control for large fast food chains. Where youtubers can excel at is selling a product (by rebranding a private label). It may be possible to start a company from that one successful product thought but the YouTuber will definitely need the business acumen to do so.

While the fans think they're supporting their favourite YouTube creators by buying their products and services, but maybe once that side business takes off and generates more money than from their YouTube channel, those creators at that point may start making less interesting videos and only make videos to promote their business.

I'm not saying this will happen to every YouTube creator, but I have seen many of old my old favourite YouTubers stop producing videos due to burn out.. and so if their side business is making money, then why they need to spend so much time on making great YouTube videos

This is cool and all, but the reality is that 98% of the inspired YouTubers will amount to nothing, or very little. The potential is there, but the marketplace is massive. Tons of competition. And with the flood of new people, the profits are going to be thinned way out as well. Good luck to everyone. The reality of how long a editing takes is a hard hurdle to jump as well, and the best videos and video creators have the best edits. Go after your dreams though! Tons of niches to go after.
