This video proves more than anything I've seen in ages that a single zoom lens and fixed camera angles, even without any camera movement, along with clever editing and sound design, is all you need to craft a compelling story telling experience. Love it Danny. Love everything you do!

when you can craft a story this engaging from the mundane, you can make masterpieces from a fleshed-out concept. Can't wait for "I Think I'm Sick"

Absolutely love the concept of "you don't need a special story or event to make something special"!

I wish this was an ordinary day for me. The slow life. In nature, with someone you love. This is my ideal life and you captured it so well. Love the video. Congrats on being featured on a YouTube curated playlist

Gorgeous! I would love to see vlogs of this style, it's so beautifully mundane and cinematic all at once. Very slice of life. Looking forward to your behind the scenes!

such a simple heartfelt story, yet such amazing cinematic moments that make you feel like you’re actually living in that moment. It’s these kind of days that always feel the best.

Love to see your short YouTube videos coming back. These never cease to inspire me to go out and shoot. The lighting the color and the shot compositions are all spot on. Not mention the sound design, you still have my favorite punchy keyboard typing sound fx.

I really like watching these and reminding myself that I have the exact same camera and lens setup so it takes away any gear excuse I conjure up in my mind to procrastinate shooting.

I love your evolution as a storyteller. You can tell that ITIS has made you an even more visceral storyteller. As weird as it may sound, urinating, defecting, and dry hump scenes show how much more honest that film experience made you. Love everything you do, man. Never stop.

The lighting the fact that the camera was stationery made me feel connected, like I was a part of your world, not just a viewer, the framing and composition was chef's kiss. The music is so relaxing 😌. Imma have to try this concept for myself hope you don't mind

This is magnificent. The ability to create such beauty & story from what is so simple, so relatable, those everyday moments as life passes us by that we waste because we don’t slow down and pay attention enough, we either dread or take them for granted. But you created something so beautiful out of them. Love this!

I loved how you used static shots for every scene and still managed to tell an amazing story!

Big fan of yours @DannyGevirtz - and I think this is some of your strongest work. It's intimate, quiet, silly and pretty nuanced. Keep it coming.

The textures are so good, my dude, love the use of close-up shots...makes me feel like I'm in your head in all these mundane actions. Can you share the source of the grain/texture you're adding? Looks super natural and pairs really well with the color. Can't wait to see "I think I'm sick", you're a freakin inspiration to so many people Danny, thank you for all your hard-work!

This is amazing. Tried to do something like this many times so its kinda inspiring but also kinda frustrating to know its definitely not gonna be this good... defenitely break down how you got that halation and grain to look so natural! Much love from Germany.

It's crazy how you produce so many emotions over the same music track. The hump scene made it so real. Congrats this is very cool.

My guy gets it’s so right every time! Light and colour absolutely on point. Can’t wait for the breakdown.
