1:49 The whole song is terrifying but this part feels so twisted like everything has truly gone to hell, especially with that screech at 2:03 sounds like the hissing of a fire and man at 2:10 that is just aggressive, it's like the instruments are reflecting screaming of people getting stomped on. If you have headphones on you can hear it switch from left to right at 2:20 like people are screaming all around you and then it stops instantly at 2:25

There is so much packed into just 40 seconds give or take

I mean this song truly sounds demonic

The slow buildup to the most tense part is amazing. Then it just sounds like pure terror, then pure hopeless after. Its the perfect way to describe the rumbling without words

this was like the most terrifying yet sad ost put into anime.

@ 0:24 - 0:47 & 5:13 - 5:44 if we listen to the slowly violin part & one piano note, it's from the pov of people that are being trampled by titans. it shows the helplessness of the people.

mand from this onwards @1:18 - 5:13 the choir and music shift with drums and bells getting loud, it's from the perspective of eren's rage towards the people outside the island and his goal towards protecting his people.

kohta yamamohto killed it with the final season ost.
