Being a Duranie for decades, I've never been thrilled when another singer tries to cover their songs... but this arrangement and Adam's vocals are insanely spectacular. I've loved and respected Adam and his talent since his run on Idol. Imo, there's nobody else whose vocal abilities come close to equalling the acrobatics of Freddie Mercury's, so that Brian and Roger can continue playing live shows full of crackling energy. Adam aces this amazing cover by giving it the care it deserves and, of course, displaying his killer pipes from start to finish. How fortunate are we to be alive at the same time as Adam? I am pre-ordering his album!

"Ordinary World" is a song that I hold near and dear to my heart. I get very defensive whenever someone attempts to cover it. I say attempt because they step up to the plate and they strike out. This is the first cover that I have ever heard that actually moved me. The arrangement is superb and Adam's vocal delivery is one of his best. Way to go dude! You stepped up to the plate and you knocked it out of the damn park!

My mom died last year around Mother’s Day. Growing up, I remember listening to Duran Duran’s wedding album and hearing this song all the time. I loved it then, and I still love it today. Today would be my mom’s birthday. She absolutely loved your music, Adam. There wasn’t a song she disliked of yours! This made me cry this morning because it’s like it’s a present from her. It reminds me of the good times and it is also something I could picture her loving so much. I appreciate this remake. It may take a while for me to not cry when I hear it because I’m forever going to think about my mom when I hear it, but I will cherish this for years to come!
