OnePlus' first tablet is here, the OnePlus Pad, and it brings some really good specs like Dimensity 9000, 144Hz IPS LCD and more at a starting price of Rs. 37,999. So, is this tablet worth the price?

What do you guys think of the OnePlus Pad at 38K versus Galaxy Tabs and iPads? 🤔

Last year iPad Air4 was available under 40, 000 in BBD sale. That’s what I call value for money product. This year I shall buy Air 5 (M1)

Pros have been pretty much covered, here are some cons.
1. Accessories are quite expensive, especially the stylus (which I personally feel could've been included in the box)
2. Desktop Mode is missing (Must for an android tablet at this price)
3. No 3.5mm jack, okay! No LTE, no worries! But NO SD Card Slot!!!!??? I mean, WHY?
4. No Fingerprint!! Amazing!
5. Ugly Camera setup (Tho I liked the design overall)
However, it might become a good option with certain discounts and cheaper accessories.

I'll request Beebom Team to make a dedicated video on the stylus and keyboard experience on this as many students might wanna consider this tablet for note taking and laptop replacement.

In Jan Tab S8 with 8 gen 1 was available for 41k and S7 FE for 30K on Samsung Shop. If the same happens, that is a much better deal than the OnePlus Pad.

I’ve had the iPad 6th gen 2018 and it’s still receiving regular OS updates(16.1.1) and given the current scenario it will get till OS 17. 6 years for a device is mind boggling. Battery is solid, still gives me 8+ hours of SOT. When it comes to iPad, hands down the best experience. I got this for study and it’s going solid. I don’t believe spending on iPhones which are not cheap and little use case as against iPad which are versatile. Blindly go for it, even if you get the 9th gen iPad it will still be supported till 2026 at 27k. Apple was in tablet game from earlier and Android manufacturers started late. Even Android phones aren’t optimised let alone tablets. 3 years of OS is joke as iPads are lasting minimum 5 years. Apple is too smart to beat in iPads they captured market at every segment. Get the iPad Air M1 hands down the fastest chip. I’m not an Apple fanboy, I have pixel 4a and previously 3a, but you got to give credit as low as 30k you can do anything from study to gaming. My friend bought 45k Samsung tablet and though the screen is OLED the user experience is average at best. Don’t go with iPad 10th gen it’s pencil usage is hassle as iPad has type C and pencil is lightening. I’ve used iPad for 5 years and nothing comes close to this! Until Apple stops selling iPads under 50k (which is going to in couple of years seen with iPad 10) Apple will dominate the tablet market. Oneplus is a liar they have promised many updates on their phones too but they stopped after one update so forget about 3 years with tablets! If you are adamant with Android go with Samsung.
