I was raised devout Christian. I'd wake up with scratches, bruises, I'd have nightmares and see a tall dark figure with horns. We had a priest come to my house and preform a blessing over me. As soon as he got into the house, I started crying. When he asked me why I was crying, I said "I'm scared of you." and he said that that is exactly what demons do when they are oppressing someone. After the blessing, they left me alone for a while. However, when I started strengthening myself spiritually, they started coming back. I've heard growls, hisses, whimpers, screams and anything else you could think of within my house. I learned a Latin Exorcism prayer and without fail, every time I use it, they go away. One time when I was a kid, I went to church and the priest (The same one that blessed me) wanted to put holy anointing oil on my forehead and I ran away. My dad grabbed me and several other church-goers decided to help and they were holding me and praying while the priest put the oil on my forehead. It stung. It was oddly similar to the first video in this countdown.

I have found myself reading the comments more so with the scary ones. I personally think it helps to NOT feel soo alone. Maybe it's kind of a subconscious thing that we don't realise when are actually reaching at something for comfort when we are scared. My antidote contains a heaping pile of blankets and pillows surrounding me to where I only have a tiny peep hole to breathe from....lol. yea I'm kind of ridiculous but at least it makes me feel like it is helping.

I tend _not_ to believe these sorts of videos and cases. I would rather think these people have a disorder, like a dissociative identity disorder, where people adopt another personality that fits into context. The context of the exorcist and possessed, where the possessed displays its favored role of a demon. But the Maurice Theriault case is still a difficult one to explain imo. I find it difficult to explain how a skin cracks and bubbles like that and gets back into normal a few moments later (as seen in other videos). Seems difficult to fake.
