For anyone who cares- the REAL woman that The Exorcism of Emily Rose was based on was name Anneliese Michel.

The audio that you’re hearing in this video is an actual audio recording from one of the 67 attempted exorcisms performed on this poor woman before eventually passing away in 1976.

The video footage is NOT real. There is absolutely no known video footage of Anneliese Michel.

For anyone who’d like to know, these are clips from a 2011 found footage film called Anneliese: The Exorcist Tape. It is based off of the true events of the 1976 exorcism of Anneliese Michel, which the movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, is also based off of.

Anneliese ended up dying of malnutrition and dehydration after 11 months and 67- 70 separate exorcisms. Her parents and 2 Catholic priests were arrested and convicted of negligible homicide. They were given 3 years probation, a fine and were ordered to pay all legal expenses between the 4 of them.
