Oh my goodness, I thought I was the only crazy lunatic who crimped the root of their hair for extra volume. And I thought I was being so clever and creative. Didn't know this was a thing!!! By the way, I'm going to get a haircut next week, and I'm going to show the hairdresser this video and ask him to give me an angled bob cut, just like yours. Believe it or not, my hair is more stick-straight than yours and perhaps finer. I too “live for volume” and find it so difficult to maintain any ooomph in my hair for any length of time. Thank you for this video, I found much of it to be a huge learning curve ❤️

Every stylist should know how to overdirect to create that big round shape at the crown! So many stylists hear round and focus on the ends, leaving it flat at the crown, creating a pyramid shape. 🤷‍♀️😢
