I love how you weren’t obnoxious in this video like some people are, and it had subtle humor in it. Super helpful btw. Thank you.

I'm a retired hairstylist, and this is the best how-to quick blow dry video ever! Especially the application of product. It's such an important skill. I used to hold a complimentary "Blow Dry 101" class twice a year for my personal clients so they could learn how to do their hair. There is no point sending a woman home with a kick-a$$ hair cut that she can't replicate at home on her own. Well done!

Kate, I found you last summer after I had surgery and was recuperating ( nothing major). This type of video is why I decided to follow you!! You have such a wonderful personality and are a fantastic teacher (my occupation). I am over 60 and never knew how to do things with my hair until I started following you. Thank you so very much. 💐

What is this...”medium” you speak of?? I have two settings: baby’s breath and dragon’s breath...

Thank you so much for this video! I have a developmental disorder and had never been shown how to correctly blow dry my hair and would always get embarrassing assumptions that I just wasn't washing my hair well enough. Although I went to extra methods to make sure that wasn't the problem. And nobody bothered to investigate further to help me solve the mystery and understand what the problem actually was. Until I happened upon your video this morning, I had no idea I was actually making two blow dry mistakes. It was a huge help and changed everything just to see what to do to fix it!

A very well-made video! A tip I always tell my clients is don’t forget to use COLD air at the end to lock in the style and seal the hair cuticle. 👍
Love this! 😘❤️

You have taught me so much! I cannot wait to do my hair tomorrow. I have curly hair so it very dry because of the tools and hair color, highlights etc. I bought the Dyson dryer and love it. It’s not cheap but I earned it. I had breast cancer and beat it

I'm about to wash my hair right now so this came in right on time! :) I'm the person with super frizzy/curly hair that you mentioned and I can attest to the fact that going medium heat gives me a MUCH better result than full heat. If you're fighting frizz the last thing you want is burnt hair!! Thanks for always being on-point with the tips <3

This is awesome, Kate! Learning the blow dry in the direction of hair has been a game changer for me! My hair looks so much sleeker and less frizzy since I started blowing dry the right way!

Tip for you to add in video.
When you apply a product, especially something with a consistency and oily texture like a serum, apply in the nape/lower back area region underneath first before the front, sides, and the top. Reasons, 1) that area is usually alway the thickest area on the scalp, and if you accidentally put too much product on, that area can compensate for a little extra if this would happen and it's the hidden area of view. 2) Reduces getting other hair wet if washing is your option, then you won't wet other sections of the hair wet, only back snd under area. 3) Again, least noticeable if overused the product.

Great tips. I've never blow dried my hair but now that I'm over 40 and my hair has thinned out I'm playing around with blow drying to create more volume.

Watched this last night. Tried it this morning. I can't believe how quick this worked. I've been wasting my life doing the sections and round brush !!!!. I'm walking around with the best hair. I'm basically feeling released from a chore I hated. Thank you, Thank you...Did I thank you ?? 😁
