If the leaf of any cutting droops or even falls off it doesn't mean it has died. Keep with it. iIt just means, that it is using the energy, as mentioned

I've done this method 2 years ago and planted it, now the tree is about 3 meters tall.

I just stuck around 2 dozen in my swamp about two weeks ago could only find 3 because of the swamp grass but they were all budding!

Can I grow weeping Willow in bigger planter or it must be in ground? Secondly does it demands less than 30 celcius temp?

Thank you very much that was nice video. I bought some from Wegmans today for Easter but could I put a couple of those stems in water to root.? Or does it have to be off of a tree with the leaves.

I know this is over 1 year old but I wonder if someone can help. I have 3 weeping willow cuttings that are growing fantastically, HOWEVER they are growing out sideways, not up. Should I tie up the new branches so they grow taller instead of wider? They look like a ground cover currently.. Thank you!
